This Accessibility Statement describes the accessibility of hometradesonline.com and the efforts Home Trades Online LLC has made to ensure the site meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. 3.1 Automated testing — Lighthouse (axe) and Pa11y (WCAG2AA)
Automated scans were run across all pages in scope. Remaining flags after the review were WCAG-exempt: disabled/inactive controls and decorative elements correctly marked aria-hidden. No real violations remain.

3.3 Issue found and resolved during evaluation
Signup modal inputs had visible labels not programmatically linked to their fields (no for/id pairing). Screen readers announced the fields with no name. Resolved with matching for/id pairs (WCAG 1.3.1 Info and Relationships / WCAG 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value). Fixed in PR #503. Verified with VoiceOver before publication. No open accessibility issues remain.

5. Assessment Approach
Home Trades Online LLC evaluated the accessibility of hometradesonline.com using the following methods:
- Automated scanning: Lighthouse (powered by axe-core) and Pa11y running the WCAG2AA ruleset, executed on each page in scope.
- Manual keyboard navigation: full keyboard-only pass verifying tab order, focus indicators (:focus-visible), skip-link functionality, and operability of all interactive elements.
- Zoom and reflow: verified at 200% browser zoom and at 320px viewport width (WCAG 1.4.4 / 1.4.10).
- Screen reader: VoiceOver (macOS) used to verify landmark navigation, heading structure, form labels, and image alternative text.
- Visual simulation: colour-blindness and low-vision simulators used to verify colour independence and contrast.
6. Known Limitations
No known accessibility barriers remain on hometradesonline.com as of the evaluation date. All issues identified during the review process were resolved before this statement was published.
We monitor accessibility continuously. When new pages or features are added, they are evaluated using the same methodology before publication. Any barriers reported by users are investigated and addressed promptly.
